How to Protect Your Amazon Inventory

This is part 2 of our how to launch your Amazon Product on Facebook series.

The strategy here is to protect your Amazon inventory during your product launch.

As always, we take no responsibility if you blowout your inventory. This is what we do, but this information could get stale at some point so always triple check this critical step if you are doing a massive discount.

This strategy is about having multiple levels of protection in place.

  1. Ideally, you will not have all of your inventory at Amazon
  2. You will place an Amazon multi-channel fulfillment order on hold (not shipped!)
  3. You will set max order quantity on your listing

Amazon no longer allows you to limit the number of items a promotion is good for, so the above steps are the best we can do today.
